SURFING BEAR OVERDRIVE is an overdrive pedal that creates the most basic distortion that guitarists of today need.
From clean boost to light crunch to bright, warm drive tones, it is a sound that can be used freely for rhythm and lead.

This is a flat and dynamic range that is generally required for guitar tones, yet it has a mid-toning tone.
Use as a stand alone, of course, even if you boost other distortions and amplifiers with SURFING BEAR OVERDRIVE, it is possible to use it effectively even if you push SURFING BEAR OVERDRIVE with another distortion or booster.

The circuit is based on the legendary drive pedal “808”. However, it will not be the "now" even if it is reproduced and printed again.
The tone sought by the current guitarist, it has a wide dynamics range, has a good response that can change the gain with the volume of the guitar, and needs clarity so that the composition of the chord can be immediately understood. Not only is it clear, but the balance between attack and sustain is also important.

SURFING BEAR OVERDRIVE is a clear, forward distortion that has enough sustain, no attack and no sound getting buried even with cutting. Combining these elements, the tone can be lightly customized with the TONE knob.

The VOL knob has a high output level, and the clean boost is possible if the DRIVE knob is lowered. Conversely, setting the DRIVE knob high results in a mild, warm tone reminiscent of the legendary “808” tone.
The tone is always clear and there is no sense of muffled sound.

Foot switch is true bypass. It is powered by a 9 V battery or a standard center negative 9 VDC adapter.
