Sustainably sourced all-solid African mahogany body
Breedlove chose African mahogany for acoustic-electric guitars in its Organic Collection Performer Series. To source the FSC Certified African mahogany, the Breedlove team traveled to the African Congo River Basin Rainforest. The mahogany construction of the Breedlove Performer Concert in Bourbon Burst delivers a warm, rich tone that's ideal for players looking for a balanced and rich sound. The FSC Certified European spruce top results in a more mature sound and tone. Additionally, torrefied tops are less susceptible to movement with humidification changes.

Breedlove soft cutaway design and flagship Concert body
Body shape has a more direct effect on the overall sound of a guitar than almost any other factor. Breedlove's proprietary Concert shape has been the hallmark of the brand for 30 years. The Performer Concert Bourbon CE offers unparalleled versatility, with a soft cutaway spruce top taking to pick or fingers with equal vigor.

Breedlove Natural Sound electronics
The Breedlove Performer Concert acoustic-electric cutaway model is equipped with Breedlove's Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement. The Breedlove Performer Series is designed to cut through in concert (whether miked up or plugged in) and sit in the mix in the studio.

Thin UV finish
The Breedlove Performer Concert boasts a thin all-gloss Bourbon Burst UV finish. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.

Other special features of the Breedlove Performer Concert acoustic-electric include forward X bracing, brass inlays, gold frets and gold tuners. The fretboard and bridge are also made from sustainably sourced African ebony.
