For the Telecaster fan who's sick of the same ol stuff, we offer you this one of a kind relic'd beast. It's called "Nastycaster" for a reason.
With its WTF looks and vibe and its undeniable Tele tone and feel this guitar hits on new levels and gets lots of attention. Perfect Stage Guitar.

With This "TGF CHOP SHOP" guitar we set out to make a Telecaster with unique relic'd Rat Rod looks and a vintage feel and sound. We took the excellent platform of a Fender Vintera '50s Telecaster in a beautiful 2-Color Sunburst with Maple Fretboard. First we Sanded all the gloss finish off this sucker for a real bad ass look and feel. The body then got some of our famous and crazy relicing treatment to achieve that "loved & hated" look. (We Know that it will only be added to later with many happy years of use with this beauty).
We Then removed the pickguard, added a Stratocaster tremolo spring to the wire routing slot (because it obviously looks awesome), replaced the stock control plate with a custom hand stained wood one then added some really cool retro "Black Top" Knobs. Oh, yes that is a penny. A stack of vintage pinnies capped with a 1953 penny because vibe is everything.

The only modern touch this guitar received is the Wilkinson Brand bridge in black that includes compensated brass saddles (stays in tune better and looks pretty sweet).
We decided to keep the Tim Shaw designed pickups because seriously, Can you do better? These sound amazing, so if it ain't broke don't fix it. We did decide to take the chrome off the neck pickup tho for a more vintage look. The Pickups are Alnico II and III Magnets and truly sound amazing! A perfect mix of 50's to Modern Tele Tone.

Ok, Now for the neck. The Neck on these 50's teles are FAT! Just so you know this neck is THICCC!! Baseball Bat Thick! We don't know about you but we here at TGF we are not fans of glossy necks. So guess what? We beautifully and artfully sanded the gloss off the fretboard and neck, we only left it on the headstock because, well....it looks cool, we had to add some classic burn marks too, obviously. We then polished up and dressed the frets and lemon oiled the neck and fretboard. This guitar feels like an old friend now not a new guitar that needs to be broken in. This guitar was just set up with 10's. It Looks, Feels, and Plays like a dream!
If you're not one for boring off the shelf guitars then TGF Chop Shop guitars are right up your alley!
We are including a new Fender Slim Style "Poodle" Hard Case that really complements the looks of this beast!

For authentic, vintage-style tone we recreated our favorite set of ‘50s Telecaster pickups. Twangy and articulate, they have the crisp, snarling sound that put Fender on the musical map. The thick, fat-shouldered “Early 50s U”-shaped neck has a 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage style frets for classic playing feel. A vintage-style Tele® bridge with three brass barrel saddles gives this Telecaster it’s characteristic twang, while vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. Other features include vintage-style strap buttons, chrome hardware and four-bolt neck plate.
