Fresh from our TGF Chop Shop comes a more affordable custom guitar. We took a brand new Black Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster
Solidbody Electric Guitar with Poplar Body, Maple Neck, Maple Fingerboard, and 3 Single-coil Pickups and gave it the "Hot Rod" treatment. We wanted to give this beast the look of being customized in an old school "Hot Rod" shop. We started by replacing the white pickguard with a custom "flame" pickguard in black. We then removed the white pickup covers exposing the raw black pickups for a more industrial look. Next come the details. We did 3 custom dice knobs, an 8 Ball on top of the whammy bar to look like a gear shifter, a metal skull decal on the pickguard, orange DR strings in a 9-42. Then for the cherry on top we did a bad ass "sticker bomb" of the coolest Hot Rod, Pinup Girl, Americana stickers we could find. This guitar has a love it or hate it style but we absolutely love it! Use it as a guitar and play it, or display it in your shop, bar or man cave. This guitar will always get attention and be an awesome conversation piece. Priced to sell fast at $399.99. Not bad for a one one a kind guitar.
