This pedal is so clean it looks like a reissue. Pot code is 1980. It looks, works, and sounds amazing!!

A 1980 MXR Phase 90 "block logo" is a, analog, 4-stage phaser in a, standard, orange, die-cast aluminum chassis. It features a, blocky, MXR logo, a, single, speed control knob, and typically, a, 9V, battery, compartment (This is a non LED, non AC Power model). It uses, three, dual-op-amps instead of the earlier 6 script-era single op-amps. Key 1980 Block Logo Specifications: Circuit: 4-stage analog phase shifter.Sound: More aggressive, pronounced, and mid-forward than the earlier, "script" logo, version.Modifications: Features a \(24\text{k}\Omega \) feedback resistor and, lower, resistance in the, LFO, (Low Frequency Oscillator), circuit, which results in, a, higher maximum speed than, "script" models.Controls: Single, speed knob.Power: 9-volt, battery.Logo: Block letters (not script).Year/Era: Late 1970s to 1984 (1980 falls within this).Construction: Often uses, three, dual-op-amps (e.g., LM1458, RC4558) rather than, 6 single-op-amps. This era is known for having, a, tighter, more, distorted-friendly tone compared to the subtle, vintage, script logo.
