This is a one owner special order 1989 Peavey Tracer II. Ordered with a pink finish and reverse, Vandenberg-style headstock. Both incredibly rare options with only a few known to exist. The original peavey hard case is included.

This was someone's favorite guitar, and it shows. There is some fretboard wear, moderate fret wear, and a hand full of body dings here and there. (All Pictured)

No Backplate, or original humbucker included, the original single coil pickup cover, knobs, and humbucker ring will be included. Non Original Trem Bar is included. It works with the set screw.

Modifications on this guitar include one repaired tuning key, lime green cover on stock single coil pickup, pink knobs, Seymour Duncan TB-12 Screamin' Demon Bridge Trembucker, Color changing metal pickup ring. All these mods fit the guitars 80's glam theme.

This guitar was just set up with 9's, frets polished, fretboard conditioned. This guitar was loved and is not perfect but there is plenty of life and songs left in this rare 80's classic.

Stock Specs:
The 1989 Peavey Tracer II was a USA-made "super-Strat" guitar that featured a shorter scale length than earlier models, 24 frets, and an HS pickup configuration. The specifications are confirmed by a Peavey product manual from the era.
General features
Body: Compact, offset double-cutaway body design made of poplar.
Neck: Bilaminated Rock Maple neck designed to resist twisting and warping.
Fretboard: Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.
Headstock: Most models featured a standard headstock, but rare versions included a reverse, Vandenberg-style headstock.

Dimensions and neck
Scale length: 24.75-inch, also expressed as 24-3/4 inches, which was a change from the earlier 25.5-inch scale of the standard Tracer II.
Frets: 24 nickel silver frets.
Fingerboard radius: 15-inch radius.
Nut: Graphlon top nut.
Electronics
Pickups: The HS (humbucker-single coil) configuration was standard.
Bridge pickup: One 12-pole, "distortion class" humbucker with individually adjustable pole pieces for each string.
Neck pickup: One high-output single coil.
Controls: One master volume and one master tone control.
Switching: A three-position pickup selector switch for the neck pickup, bridge pickup, or both.
Hardware
Bridge: Peavey Power Bend tremolo.
Tuners: Standard tuning machines. Locking tuners were not standard on this model.
Finishes
The guitar was produced in both solid colors and splatter-paint graphics.
Solid colors: Black, White, Metallic Red, and Metallic Blue.
Special Order Colors: Peavey made multiple shades of pink factory colors available as special-order options. These are rarer to find.
Splatter graphics: These varied, but commonly included combinations like Pink with Blue and Yellow Splatter or a Green/Yellow/Blue Splatter.
