1996 Model Year. Made in the USA at the Legendary Guild Westerly Road Island Guitar Factory.
It has a solid spruce top, solid flame maple sides, and a three-piece maple neck. The beautiful flamed maple back is arched. The flame maple looks absolutely stunning in the natural blonde finish. The neck is also highly figured.
Hard shell case: The case shown appears to be the original from 1996. It's a little beat up but still gets the job done.
This near 40-year-old guitar sounds amazing. The tone is warm, loud and lovely. As the wood ages, it becomes lighter, more responsive, and resonant and the sound becomes richer, louder and more vibrant. There is one wood repair on the bottom of this guitar. It has been professionally repaired, reenforced and glued. It doesn't look perfect but its structurally sound and in a place that you'll hardly notice. (Pictured)
