The SR400 is a Soundgear series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1993. It was crafted in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Standard line. But production moved to South Korea in mid 1994.

The SR400 features a double-cutaway alder body bolted to a maple SR4 neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots position markers. Components include a pair Ibanez P/J pickup's on the neck and bridge positions, an Standard solid bridge with 19mm string spacing, an EQBIII active 3-band EQ . Controls master volume control, pickup balance control, tone control and chrome hardware.
