This is only the 6th Fender Splattercaster we've seen come in on trade in 20 years. These are rare guitars. Players and collectors alike typically hold on to these guitars

Ok, let's get honest for a minute, most of these guitars are pretty ugly, but it's part of their charm so it's all good. Each Splattercaster is different, no two are the same. Sometimes the paint does a cool unique patten, sometimes it's just a blotchy mess. Fender sold them all the same. Sometimes though, you get what we consider a perfect example of one.
This is that guitar, and by far the best one we've ever seen.
The paint colors are Violet, Daphne, Lake Placid, and Midnight Blue Swirl over Olympic White and Spun to perfection. The colors are amazing and vibrant, the pattern has beautiful symmetry, along with some cool unique drips here and there. This is definitely one of the better examples of this awesome paint idea fender had back in the early 2000's.
These guitars are true works of art and look amazing as a wall hanger or a showstopping stage guitar. They always get people's attention!
If you've been in the market for one of these, this is the one you've been waiting for.

The ‘Splattercaster’ was a special run guitar made between 2003 & 2004 in very limited numbers, with only 500 ever produced and no two finishes being the same! Back in 2003, Fender Mexico wanted to show off its finishing skills so they introduced the ‘Spalttercaster’, with various models being shown at Fender booths at various guitar shows. Each one had its own one-of-a-kind finish which makes these Strats very collectible and incredibly rare to come by. They were available in 2 different types of finishes – 6 “Swirls” & 6 “Dipped”.
