Alhambra 4Z Classical Guitar

The Alhambra 4Z model was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Alhambra Guitars (1965-2015). It is a mid-range guitar, offering a surprising and satisfying range of professional performance. The 4 Z model has very balanced tones between the bass and the treble notes.

Perhaps the most important feature of this guitar are the back and sides made of Ziricote (Cordia dodecandra), an extraordinarily beautiful wood, with a sound that could be described as an excellent deep, very Spanish sound. The Ziricote generates unique instruments due to the contrasts of the grain of the wood. Although every guitar is always unique the differences are more evident with the striking grain of the Ziricoté.

The neck on the 4Z is designed using the ergoneck - a thinner neck, (still 52mm nut width) made with Mahogany, which makes the guitar much more comfortable to play in performances.

The saddle and nut are made of melamine, a material that transmits sound very well and offers a well defined and very balanced sound. The 4Z fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood.
