Blackstar HT20RHMKII Studio 20 20W Tube Guitar Amp Head Black
Brand New
Designed for electric guitar players, the Blackstar HT-20RHMKII is a 20W tube amplifier head for guitars. It sports two channels, one for Clean and one for Overdrive. An included footswitch allows you to easily switch between channels.
The overdrive channel offers a three-knob tone stack and Blackstar's proprietary ISF tonal filter, while the clean section gives you a simple tone control. Reverb is also on hand for adding space to the signal. Each channel offers two different voicings for multiple timbres.
With two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp stage and two EL84 power tubes, the amplifier offers the rich, harmonically complex sound of tubes. You get all the breakup characteristics of this amp at a much lower output level by pressing the output power reduction switch. This takes the output power down from 20W into 2W.
This amp head includes a 1/4" line output and an XLR DI out. Both of these respond to a voicing switch that allows you to change the tonal characteristics of the emulated signal. Choose between a 4x12" closed-back or a 1x12" open-back cabinet sound.
You'll also note an effects loop with switchable level. This enables you to use the amp head with guitar-level effects, such as stompboxes, or rackmount gear. You'll find 1/4" 16- and 8-ohm speaker outputs, as well as a stereo MP3/line input and a USB port.
