Breedlove Performer Pro Concertina Aged Toner CE Acoustic Electric Guitar. European EI Rosewood
Brand New. Not available for curbside pickup. Online orders only.
What happened when we shrunk our new Organic Pro Performer series down to a Concertina (our version of the parlor) body shape? Only good things. This guitar offers everything you want from a professional grade, all solid body guitar in a small, powerful package. With 12 frets to the body, it produces a unique, inviting tone, with the bridge sitting right on the European spruce top’s sweet spot. The solid rosewood back and sides efficiently projects the bass tones and accents the highs, bringing an ideal collaboration between the top and back to achieve Breedlove’s famous warm textured note-for-note clarity. A short scale and soft cutaway open up every fret, whether bending the blues, shaking a wicked vibrato, or simply singing your favorite song from Spotify. Working musicians love the Performer Pro’s killer combination of classic spruce and rosewood tone, with beautifully understated looks. When plugged in, the Fishman Flex Plus-T electronics, capture true acoustic sound and allow you to make this small bodied guitar sound as big as you like.

A classic tonewood combination
Spruce and rosewood equal a classic tonewood combination that provides classic acoustic sound at a slightly darkened level. The Organic Performer Pro Concertina CE’s tonewood pairing follows that time-honored tradition with a solid European spruce top over solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Rosewood supplies a bold, resonant tone with a subtly dampened midrange response, while the spruce projects with the utmost clarity. And since the entire body is solid wood, you can feel the unrestrained resonance thumping against your chest when you strum.
Cascade bracing pattern maximizes your sound
Named for the mountain range just outside of Breedlove’s Oregon headquarters, Cascade bracing is an advanced, data-driven approach to traditional scalloped bracing. It applies the design principles of Breedlove’s acclaimed Sound Optimization technology to the company’s more affordable models. The customized brace shapes and profiles allow your guitar to vibrate with complete freedom, treating listeners to a rich, well-balanced tone with truckloads of projection. Breedlove guitars that are equipped with Cascade bracing offer custom shop tone and response at a fraction of the price.
Eco-conscious construction
For years, Breedlove has worked tirelessly to lessen its environmental impact. Now, Sweetwater is proud to announce that Breedlove has achieved complete sustainability. Since 2021, every Breedlove instrument is constructed entirely from environmentally friendly tonewoods. Stunningly figured myrtlewood, luxurious curly maple, resonant African mahogany, heirloom-quality koa, smooth-as-glass ebony, and more are on offer — and all of them individually harvested in cooperation with local communities and suppliers. From the introductory Discovery Series to the bespoke, handcrafted Masterclass Series, every guitar and bass bearing the Breedlove name ushers in a new era of environmental responsibility and look good doing it.
Breedlove: guitars you can feel good about
From the company’s beginning in 1990, Breedlove has focused a lot of their efforts on offsetting their impact on the planet without compromising the quality of their instruments. Their radical approach to sustainability led Breedlove to create their Tonewood Certification Program and commit to visiting the locations where their timber is harvested to ensure that their sustainability standards are met. The company has introduced player-centered innovations, including top-loading bridges, fine-tuned voicings, and unique neck profiles. From the Discovery to the Legacy, each and every Breedlove is made with an uncompromising dedication to quality sound, flawless workmanship, and complete environmental sustainability. Buying a Breedlove is much more than purchasing a top-notch acoustic guitar — it’s buying a guitar that you can feel good about.
