A classic tonewood combination
Spruce and mahogany equal a classic tonewood combination that’s been used for well over a century. The Organic Performer Pro Concerto CE’s tonewood pairing follows that time-honored tradition with a solid European spruce top over solid African mahogany back and sides. Mahogany supplies a warm, resonant tone with a lively and pleasing midrange response, while the spruce projects with the utmost clarity. And since the entire body is solid wood, you can feel the unrestrained resonance thumping against your chest when you strum.
Cascade bracing pattern maximizes your sound
Named for the mountain range just outside of Breedlove’s Oregon headquarters, Cascade bracing is an advanced, data-driven approach to traditional scalloped bracing. It applies the design principles of Breedlove’s acclaimed Sound Optimization technology to the company’s more affordable models. The customized brace shapes and profiles allow your guitar to vibrate with complete freedom, treating listeners to a rich, well-balanced tone with truckloads of projection. Breedlove guitars that are equipped with Cascade bracing offer custom shop tone and response at a fraction of the price.
Eco-conscious construction
For years, Breedlove has worked tirelessly to lessen its environmental impact. Now, Sweetwater is proud to announce that Breedlove has achieved complete sustainability. Since 2021, every Breedlove instrument is constructed entirely from environmentally friendly tonewoods. Stunningly figured myrtlewood, luxurious curly maple, resonant African mahogany, heirloom-quality koa, smooth-as-glass ebony, and more are on offer — and all of them individually harvested in cooperation with local communities and suppliers. From the introductory Discovery Series to the bespoke, handcrafted Masterclass Series, every guitar and bass bearing the Breedlove name ushers in a new era of environmental responsibility and look good doing it.
Breedlove: guitars you can feel good about
From the company’s beginning in 1990, Breedlove has focused a lot of their efforts on offsetting their impact on the planet without compromising the quality of their instruments. Their radical approach to sustainability led Breedlove to create their Tonewood Certification Program and commit to visiting the locations where their timber is harvested to ensure that their sustainability standards are met. The company has introduced player-centered innovations, including top-loading bridges, fine-tuned voicings, and unique neck profiles. From the Discovery to the Legacy, each and every Breedlove is made with an uncompromising dedication to quality sound, flawless workmanship, and complete environmental sustainability. Buying a Breedlove is much more than purchasing a top-notch acoustic guitar — it’s buying a guitar that you can feel good about.
