East Indian Rosewood Back & Side Woods

• The familiar scooped sound profile of a classic dreadnought comes largely from East Indian rosewood, which emphasizes round bass tones and clear trebles, leaving a valley custom made for the human voice. The same carefully sourced qualities offer presence and definition to smaller bodies, along with great dynamic range.

The Breedlove Neck

• Breedlove guitar necks feature a slimmer neck profile which enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands. Unlike traditional dovetail neck joints that require major surgery for a neck re-set, it is easy to adjust the play action and neck angle with the Breedlove bolt-on neck and single-action truss rod. The hand-rubbed, semi-gloss Breedlove neck finish contributes to ideal playability – the finish process alone takes three days, including precise finish coat applications, fine sanding, and hand buffing and rubbing.

Pinless Bridges

• The Breedlove Pinless Bridge helps maintain the integrity of the top by eliminating the need for six drilled string holes. The fewer holes in your soundboard, the more evenly the sound wave can move across the interior, without any loss of energy. The Breedlove Pinless Bridge provides a gentler string-break angle from the bridge to the top of the saddle, reducing saddle strain. This innovative bridge also makes string changes a breeze, especially on 12 strings. Plus, you’ll never again have to worry about lost, worn-out, or broken bridge pins — and no more jarring string “pop” when you’re tuning up and don’t have the ball-end of the string seated properly into a pin.
