The Premier Concertina Copper E Sitka Spruce – East Indian Rosewood is a professional grade acoustic-electric guitar delivering a surprisingly alive, balanced and resonate sound from a guitar designed for a light playing style. The smaller body Concertina is surprisingly comfortable to hold and play, yet loud and full of unexpected, room-filling projection. Using our Sound Optimization process, our craftsmen found the right frequency separation between the Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides to maximize the classic robust sound desired by the professional touring artist and the studio musician, to the collector or weekend hobbyist. With a shorter neck – 12 frets to the body – it has a string tension that makes playing so enjoyable, you will not want to put this guitar down. All Premier models come standard with the highly reliable LR Baggs EAS VTC electronics and can travel safely in a Breedlove hardshell case specially designed for each Breedlove revolutionary body shape. Breedlove’s distinctive small body guitar delivers a surprisingly clear, crisp sound, and its short scale 12-fret design makes it a joy to play. Extensive Custom Shop engineering and experimentation has resulted in a modern shape that has a bigger sound and a more comfortable profile than a traditional parlor model.

SITKA SPRUCE TOP
The world’s most popular topwood, for a reason. Sitka has an ideal strength-to-weight ratio, yielding a strong fundamental, high velocity of sound and a pleasing elasticity. Translation? Sitka sounds great for heavy strumming, light fingerpicking and everything in between.

EAST INDIAN ROSEWOOD BACK & SIDE WOODS
The familiar scooped sound profile of a classic dreadnought comes largely from East Indian rosewood, which emphasizes round bass tones and clear trebles, leaving a valley custom made for the human voice. The same carefully sourced qualities offer presence and definition to smaller bodies, along with great dynamic range.

THE BREEDLOVE NECK
Breedlove guitar necks feature a slimmer neck profile which enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands. Unlike traditional dovetail neck joints that require major surgery for a neck re-set, it is easy to adjust the play action and neck angle with the Breedlove bolt-on neck and single-action truss rod. The hand-rubbed, semi-gloss Breedlove neck finish contributes to ideal playability – the finish process alone takes three days, including precise finish coat applications, fine sanding, and hand buffing and rubbing.

Breedlove players around the world can attest: With consistent, proper care, your Breedlove will give you a lifetime of service – and inspiration. New Breedlove instruments, purchased through an authorized Breedlove dealer, are warrantied to be free of defects in materials and workmanship throughout the lifetime of the original owner. In addition to materials and workmanship, Breedlove offers a two-year warranty on tuning machines and electronics packages. Cases and bags are subject to a one-year warranty covering defects in structure and hardware.

PINLESS BRIDGES
The Breedlove Pinless Bridge helps maintain the integrity of the top by eliminating the need for six drilled string holes. The fewer holes in your soundboard, the more evenly the sound wave can move across the interior, without any loss of energy. The Breedlove Pinless Bridge provides a gentler string-break angle from the bridge to the top of the saddle, reducing saddle strain. This innovative bridge also makes string changes a breeze, especially on 12 strings. Plus, you’ll never again have to worry about lost, worn-out, or broken bridge pins — and no more jarring string “pop” when you’re tuning up and don’t have the ball-end of the string seated properly into a pin.
