Overall Great Condition Especially for a near 45-Year-Old Guitar. It has some small dings a body blems here and there but, it's all cosmetic. No fretboard or fret wear. The ebony fretboard is smooth as glass! This is the more sought after black finish model. Schaller strap locks and buttons have been installed. A molded plastic hard case is included.
This guitar was just set up with new strings. It plays unbelievably and sounds amazing!!
The Carvin CM140 stereo guitar was produced from around 1977 to 1985, with its introduction in 1977 and being offered as a flagship single-cutaway model through the early-to-mid 80s, featuring deluxe options like stereo outputs and coil/phase switches during this period.
The Carvin CM-140 was a vintage solid-body electric guitar (late '70s/early '80s) known for its stereo output capability, allowing separate signals to different amps, featuring Carvin M22 humbuckers, coil-tap/phase switches for versatile tones, a set maple neck with ebony fingerboard, block inlays, Schaller hardware, and a Les Paul-style single-cut body (maple or mahogany), bridging Carvin's classic designs with modern features.
