Equipped with a Voiced Tone VTH-77 bridge humbucker and VTS-63 single-coil pickups, the G280 delivers powerful, dynamic tones with modern clarity. The humbucker provides fatter, hotter tones with excellent sustain and punchy attack, while the single-coil pickups shine in clean settings with sparkling clarity and distortion settings with aggressive bite.

The recessed tremolo bridge is an uncompromising system featuring stainless steel saddles, a solid machined steel block, and a steel baseplate, providing enhanced sustain, faster pick attack, and a balanced fundamental tone. The floating tremolo allows for pull-ups and push-downs, giving players maximum pitch control and expressive versatility.

Designed for smooth playability across all registers, the compound radius fretboard (12”–15.75”) makes chording effortless in the lower register while allowing for high-speed soloing and enhanced string bending in the upper frets. The roasted maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard blends the punchy midrange of maple with the warm, rich tone of rosewood, creating a classic sound favored by legendary players.
