Equipped with the Voiced Tone VTH-77 pickup set, the G290 FAT II provides modern high output for today’s high-energy music while still maintaining the ability to clean up for classic rock and bluesy tones. For enhanced tuning stability and sustain, the Cort CFA-III tremolo features stainless steel saddles, a solid machined steel block, and a steel baseplate, delivering improved resonance, punchy pick attack, and a more balanced fundamental tone. The Cort staggered locking machine heads ensure precise, reliable tuning while making string changes faster and easier.

The 1 Volume & 1 Tone, 5-Way Switch is custom-wired to provide glassy and sparkling single-coil sounds in the 2nd and 4th positions, along with full-bodied and powerful humbucker tones in the bridge, middle, and neck positions.

For playability, the Birdseye Maple neck and fingerboard not only enhance the guitar’s luxurious look but also provide a strong high-midrange that helps you cut through the mix. The compound radius fingerboard (12”-15.75”) ensures comfortable chording in the lower register while allowing high-speed soloing and enhanced string bending in the upper register.
