These amazing machines don't come up for sale to often. Hand Made in Germany, Includes Power cable, super Cool Wood Case with Power Cable Storage. This unit spent most of the last 20 years in storage. This unit works and sounds great. Original GE Tubes, Tape, and Heads. The tone is warm and delicious. These units run a little noisy and this one is the same, mostly light background noise, nothing crazy. We wanted to keep everything as original as possible. This was just cleaned up and serviced, heads and tube sockets cleaned and inspected. This is a 60-year-old unit and is not perfect but its functioning, sounds great Due to the nature of these items this is being sold as-is. This Unit has a 1/4" input and Output so it can be used like a typical guitar pedal, we are not sure if this is stock or a modification but they both work as intended.
Formidable echo of tube tape from the 60s. Handmade and of high quality. Nothing equals a true tape echo and less if it is original and tubes! It has a warm and full-bodied sound that is very inspiring and interesting to create reverb or delay atmospheres, slap-back… Ideal for saturating your amplifiers or as a microphone preamp as well.
Musicians like Brian Setzer (Stray Cats), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Eddie Van Halen, Gary Moore, Jeff Beck… have based their sounds on tape echoes.
