Overall Great Condition!!! Awesome 1970s 2256 Super Rock LP style bolt on electric guitar which features a (like rosewood) Jacaranda top. This beauty has a dark top with some of the best grain we've seen on one of these. These Japanese-made guitars were state of the art in their time, featuring two Super Magnaflux (Made by Maxon) Humbuckers. One Pickup is covered, and one is not, this is how they came from the factory and are completely stock. The rosewood fretboard has beautiful mother of pearl block inlays and is fully bound as is both sides of the body.
THIS GUITAR WEIGHS 8.60 LBS
This guitar was just completely serviced and set up by our tech. Frets polished, fretboard and body cleaned and conditioned, hardware, pots, jack, and switch all cleaned and work great! Set Up with 10's. Looks, Plays, and Sounds Fantastic. Includes wood hard case. Tuning keys have been changed to upgraded ones. Pickguard not included.
Very few of these models are ever offered for sale and this one is the best looking and most reasonably priced.
Electra guitars were imported from Japan by Saint Louis Music (SLM) of Saint Louis, Missouri from 1971 to 1984 (most MPC models were made by Matsumoku of Matsumoku, Japan) . Matsumoku has made many popular guitar brands over the years including; Aria, Westbury, Westone, Epiphone, Vantage & Vox to name but a few.
