The ESP Alexi Ripped is a tribute to the legendary Alexi Laiho, crafted by the artisans of the ESP Custom Shop in Japan. This signature model showcases Alexi's iconic offset V shape, neck-thru-body construction, and a stunning Purple Fade Satin finish with black satin "ripped" pinstripes. The Alexi Ripped is the first in the Alexi Laiho Signature Series to feature dual pickups: an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge for punchy clarity and presence, and an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single coil in the neck for a balanced mix of mids and low-end clarity. With 24 extra-jumbo frets, a scalloped ebony fingerboard (frets 19-24), glow-in-the-dark side markers, and high-end hardware like Gotoh locking tuners and a Floyd Rose Original bridge, this guitar is built for precision and performance. The ESP MM-04 active boost switch adds up to +18dB of adjustable boost for solos or heavy passages. This instrument includes a deluxe ESP hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity.
