James Hetfield, the legendary frontman and rhythm guitarist of Metallica, brings his signature style and tone to the ESP LTD Vulture. This striking V-shaped guitar combines aggressive aesthetics with pro-level performance. Designed with input from Hetfield himself, the Vulture features a mahogany body with distinctive hooks and bevels inspired by the iconic Metallica logo. Its set-neck construction and 24.75” scale provide effortless playability and sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard boasts 22 extra-jumbo frets, dot inlays, and a custom vulture inlay at the 12th fret, making this guitar as visually impactful as it is sonically powerful.
Equipped with James Hetfield’s signature EMG JH Het Set pickups, the Vulture delivers a unique blend of passive clarity and active power. The JH-N neck pickup offers a fuller low end and higher output, while the JH-B bridge pickup provides a tight attack and clean low end. Additional high-end features include LTD locking tuners, a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and discrete volume controls for each pickup. Finished in a stunning Olympic White, the Vulture comes with an ESP deluxe hardshell case, making it gig-ready from day one.
