The LTD JR-608 is a stunning 8-string masterpiece designed in collaboration with Javier Reyes, one of the most innovative guitarists in progressive rock and a driving force in Animals As Leaders. Known for pushing the boundaries of electric guitar, Javier’s input has crafted a guitar that meets the demands of modern progressive music and solo experimentation. The JR-608’s neck-thru-body construction at a 27” baritone scale, combined with its swamp ash body and figured quilted maple top, allows for unparalleled tonal articulation and range. Its 5-piece walnut/maple/padauk neck provides exceptional stability and playability, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard features a custom inlay pattern and glow-in-the-dark side markers for an elegant yet practical design.
Equipped with Javier’s own Fishman Javier Reyes Open Core Signature Pickups, the JR-608 delivers incredible versatility. A mini-toggle switch engages multiple voicings, and a 5-way super switch enhances tonal flexibility. The Hipshot bridge with string-thru-body ensures excellent tuning stability and sustain, while the Faded Blue Sunburst finish and gold hardware add a premium aesthetic touch.
