The LTD JR-7 is the 7-string signature guitar of Javier Reyes, known for his groundbreaking work with Animals As Leaders and his solo project Mestis. Designed for maximum versatility and tonal clarity, the JR-7 combines high-quality materials with top-tier components to deliver a 7-string baritone masterpiece. Built with neck-thru-body construction at a 27” baritone scale, it features a swamp ash body with a figured quilted maple top and a 5-piece walnut/maple/padauk neck for exceptional stability and sustain. The Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 24 extra-jumbo frets, a custom white pearloid inlay pattern, and glow-in-the-dark side markers for excellent playability in any setting.
Equipped with Javier’s signature Fishman Open Core Humbucker pickups, the JR-7 offers incredible tonal range with multiple voicings selectable via a mini toggle. A five-way super switch adds further flexibility, while the Hipshot bridge with string-thru-body design ensures reliable intonation and tuning stability. Finished in a stunning Faded Blue Sunburst with gold hardware, this guitar is as visually captivating as it is musically inspiring.
