The LTD Royal Shiva joins the Bill Kelliher Signature Series as a stunning, high-performance guitar based on Bill’s own ESP Custom Shop creation. Designed for Mastodon’s guitar virtuoso, this guitar features a completely unique double-cutaway body shape with a striking Silver Sunburst finish that extends across the back of the body and neck. Elegant white binding on the body, neck, and headstock, combined with a multi-ply black pickguard, elevates its aesthetic appeal.
The Royal Shiva employs traditional set-neck construction at a 25” scale, merging a maple-capped mahogany body with a three-piece u-shaped mahogany neck. The Macassar ebony fingerboard includes large mother-of-pearl block inlays, 22 extra-jumbo frets, and a bone nut for premium playability.
Equipped with Mojotone Hellbender humbucker pickups, Bill Kelliher’s signature set, this guitar delivers raw, menacing tones alongside clean, articulate complexity. Both pickups feature nickel covers and can be split individually using push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs. Pro-level components like a TonePros TOM bridge and tailpiece, LTD locking tuners, and nickel hardware ensure exceptional tuning stability and performance.
