The LTD SD-2 is the signature guitar of Sammy Duet, founder of the extreme metal powerhouse Goatwhore. Known for his rapid rhythms and devastating riffs, Sammy’s custom Random Star shape is as iconic as his playing. The SD-2 is designed to handle the intensity of modern metal while providing an exceptional tonal range and playability that matches Sammy’s signature style.

 

Built with neck-thru-body construction at a 24.75” scale, the SD-2 ensures exceptional sustain and easy access to the highest frets. Its mahogany body and three-piece mahogany neck are paired with a bound Macassar ebony fingerboard featuring 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, diamond-shaped mother-of-pearl inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers for effortless navigation in any lighting.

 

The Floyd Rose 1000 SE tremolo with stainless steel screws provides precise tuning stability, even with the most aggressive dive bombs. The guitar is equipped with a single Seymour Duncan Blackouts Metal AHB-2 active pickup, delivering the articulate response and crushing tone modern metal demands, along with a moderated output for rich, full-bodied sound.
