The ESP LTD XJ-1 HT reintroduces the iconic XJ guitar shape with a modern design and features tailored for today’s musicians. Featuring a textured sandblasted Black Blast finish on its swamp ash body, this guitar stands out both visually and sonically. Built with bolt-on construction and a 25.5” scale, it provides a reliable and sturdy playing experience. The tilt-back reverse headstock ensures enhanced string tension, making it perfect for lower tunings. Its three-piece roasted maple neck offers a thin U-shaped contour, paired with a Macassar ebony fingerboard that includes 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and pearloid block inlays for excellent playability.
The XJ-1 HT is equipped with a Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker in the bridge position, providing multiple voices accessible via push-pull control. Voice 1 delivers a legendary humbucker tone with high output for modern performances, while Voice 3 unlocks the coveted tone of a slightly overwound single-coil. Additional features include a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru body for enhanced sustain, LTD locking tuners for excellent tuning stability, and a molded nut.
