Eve Audio 3-Way 4-inch Mid + 7-inch + AMT Left Side 335-watt Active Monitor for Midfield and Main TGF33

Designed for pro-audio engineers who want a supremely accurate sound, the EVE Audio SC3070 is a triamplified, 3-way monitor for use in mid-field or near-field applications. The monitor offers a precise midrange response, as well as powerful lows and pristine highs. However, the relatively compact size of the monitor makes for an ideal solution where space considerations are a factor. Anything from studio recording to mixing to mastering can be achieved on these monitors.

In addition to a powerful and accurate 4" midrange driver and a precise low-frequency driver measuring around 6.5", the SC3070 employs EVE's renowned Air Motion Transformer RS3 high-frequency driver that offers a clean and precise high-end sound without ever fatiguing your ears. Each driver is powered by a Class-D amplifier.

The monitor utilizes internal DSP that makes use of high-quality Burr Brown converters to provide 24-bit / 192 kHz internal conversion. This ensures latency-free filtering when required, and protects the entire monitoring system from overloads.

This monitor offers a rear-firing bass-reflex design to ensure an accurate low response. This is the left version of the monitor, and the right model is available separately.

DSP

As with all monitors from EVE Audio, the SC3070 features high-resolution DSP. A high-quality analog/digital converter from Burr Brown works at 24-bit / 192 kHz to convert the analog input signal supplied via RCA or XLR. The DSP ensures latency-free filtering, and simultaneously protects the entire frequency range from overload.

Acoustic Filtering

Adjustments to the acoustic environment can be made via the front rotary/pressure encoder with the rotating LED ring. This knob allows the leveling of system volume, as well as the adjustment of filters for room variables (low-shelf, mid-EQ and high-shelf filters). All settings are displayed on the LED ring, providing instant information about the selected values. The brightness of the LED ring can be adjusted for dark studios or video applications.

Class-D Ampifier

Three high-quality Class-D amplifiers complete the system and deliver enough power to meet the demands of modern music production. Selected volume and/or filter settings can be independently fixed with DIP-switches that are positioned on the rear of the amplifier to prevent unauthorised or unintentional adjustments.

Drivers

EVE Audio's Air Motion Transformer RS3 is combined with a specially designed 4" midrange driver to give the SC3070 accurate and unhyped transmission of high and mid frequencies without being tiring. A 6.5" woofer driver rounds out the SC3070 by providing precise and powerful low-mid frequencies. <br
The bass and mid-range drivers have the same SilverCone design found in existing models from EVE Audio that have proven their worth in top studios all over the world. These drivers work with a low-distortion copper-cap magnet system, which significantly reduces the distortion factor. The fiberglass-coated membrane material is constructed in a stable honeycomb structure to guarantee true tonal reproduction.
