THE FENDER CUSTOM SHOP POSTMODERN STRATOCASTER

Combining the best of Fender's storied past with modern innovations, the Postmodern Stratocaster is the perfect mélange of player-friendly features and could only have come from the Fender Custom Shop. The 9.5"-12" compound-radius quartersawn maple or AAA round-lam rosewood fingerboard, 21 6105 frets and contoured neck heel combine for pure playability. Hand-wound El Diablo single-coil pickups and Vintage Modified #2 wiring offer hot tone that’s easy to refine while DAG shielding reduces electromagnetic interference. The lightweight two-piece select ash body wears a Journeyman Relic finish, giving it the look and feel of a well-loved guitar that’s kicked around many venues and vans.
Other features include Closet Classic hardware, a tinted quartersawn maple neck with “’63 C”-shaped profile, 5-way switching, 3-ply Eggshell pickguard, American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and Certificate of Authenticity.
