Sixty years ago, Leo Fender introduced the now-legendary Jazzmaster into the Fender lineup. The futuristic guitar featured an offset waist, unique pickups with a super versatile rhythm/lead circuit, and was actually the first Fender guitar to have a rosewood fretboard. The guitar was originally picked up by Surf Rock bands of the '60s instead of the Jazz players it was intended for, and cemented in Guitar History by the Post-Punk and Alternative bands from the '70s up to '90s. This limited edition 60th Anniversary Jazzmaster features the original 2-color sunburst finish, vintage 7.25" radius, bone nut, vintage clay dot inlays, and 1-ply gold anodized aluminum for authentic looks as well as tone.
