Overall Great Condition. Made in the USA, 1960's. Just Set Up with Flatwound Electric Strings. Vintage Neck pickup was installed by the original owner. It has a volume and tone control with cable attached. Shows some signs of wear on the neck with some light fret wear. This baby still plays and sounds great! Includes original chip board case.

The body is crafted from solid birch (top, back, and sides), the H1215 features a compact -15 3/4" lower bout with a curvy archtop design. Its spruce top grain and maple back/sides, accented by painted bindings, give it a retro look that screams 1960s cool. Dual f-holes enhance its acoustic projection.

The neck is a sturdy poplar neck has a chunky D-shaped profile, paired with a stained hardwood fretboard (12" radius). With a 1 3/4" nut width and 25" scale length, it’s comfortable for both chording and lead playing. The neck is straight, and action is low (3/32" at the 12th fret).

Expect a crisp, mid-heavy tone ... punchy and direct, with a woody bite that suits fingerpicking or flatpicking. While not as warm as spruce-top guitars, its unique voice shines in bluesy or rootsy settings and can be modified for electric use.

The guitar features a floating bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and vintage style tuners. The headstock sports the classic Harmony logo, adding to its vintage appeal.

Vintage 1960s Harmony H1215, a timeless archtop acoustic guitar that captures the raw, unpolished spirit of American music from the era. Nicknamed the "Archtone," this Chicago-made instrument was a favorite among beginners and pros alike for its affordability and distinctive style, perfect for jazz, blues, or country strumming.
