- Thermo Aged Ovangkol Fretboard: Thermo Aged, a special drying process, makes the Ovangkol fretboard light and harder and provides increased stability.

- Thermo Aged Ovangkol Scalloped Bridge: The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves efficiency of vibration transfer for better resonance and provides more flexibility in adjusting the action than does a typical bridge. Thermo Aged, a special drying process, makes the bridge even lighter and harder for increased stability.

- Ibanez Advantage Bridge Pins: These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulb-shaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage the pin and string stay put.

- A.I.R.Port: Through intensive research and development, Ibanez have designed the A.I.R.port with a unique internal structure that reflects sound waves and guides them to exit from a precisely positioned sound hole. As a result, players can monitor what they are playing more clearly, which enhances the overall playing experience.

- X-M Bracing: After spending years of trial-and-error, Ibanez realized the out-of-the-box X-M Bracing to generate the ultimate sound standing out on the stage. The carefully designed scalloped X-bracing, the allocation of tone braces, and finger braces transmit the string vibration efficiently through the bridge to the body. The X-M Bracing creates the clear bottom and crispy treble sound with trimmed warm mid-range, yet provides a wide dynamic range and high response.

This item is fully functiong properly and soley marked as a Factory Second due to a cosmetic flaw. The type of cosmetic flaw varies with every item such as light surface scratching, finish dings or splits, paint discoloration, etc. The flaw is purley cosmetic and does not affect the playability or durability of the item. The majority of Factory Seconds look brand new, as the manufacturer is fanatical about quality control and will mark an item as a second for even the tiniest cosmetic imperfection.
