The AEW40FFCD features multi-scale construction – the longer scale on the lower register provides more articulation and a punchy sound on the low-end; the shorter scale on the higher register contributes to better playing comfort. 

The AEW40FFCD is an AE body style acoustic-electric guitar with walnut top back and sides for arresting looks. Electronics on the AEW40FFCD include a Fishman Sonicore pickup and an AEQ-SP2 preamp for complete tone control, 1/4 in. and XLR outputs, plus an onboard tuner for quick, discreet tuning. The bone nut and saddle were chosen for its ability to transfer string vibration naturally. Grover Chrome Die-cast tuners with half moon knobs (18:1 gear ratio) ensure acculate, stable tuning.
