The FLATV1 from Ibanez is the Josh Smith Signature Electric Guitar that is as versatile as the blues rock virtuoso himself. Considered a blues guitar prodigy at the early age of 12, Josh cut his teeth playing with some of the greats before he was even old enough to drive. As an accomplished artist today, Josh is known for his fiery live performances where he effortlessly blends the blues, jazz and country music together, all while showcasing a mastery level of technical skill. The FLATV1 is designed to bring that same level of passionate intensity to a variety of genres with comfortable playability and outstanding tone.

Featuring an ash body, a roasted maple neck with a soft “V” profile and a roasted maple fingerboard, the FLATV1 Josh Smith blends the charm of classic design with a modern feel. This signature electric is also equipped with Josh’s signature pickup set, vintage-style Seymour Duncan Flat 5 single-coils that deliver bright, fat tone. Additional features include Gotoh machine heads and a Gotoh F1803 bridge for optimal tuning stability.
