Maple Neck With Purpleheart Fingerboard
Built for marathon practice sessions and all-night gigs, the GRG320 has an exceptionally playable maple neck with a smooth satin finish that lets your hand glide easily up and down the fingerboard. The gorgeous purpleheart fingerboard adds visual flair while providing a dense, tightly grained surface for excellent tone and sustain. Its broad curves and medium-jumbo frets allow for fast lead playing with ample room between strings. The neck joint offers smooth access to higher frets. Whether you're drilling scales or nailing intricate solos, the RG320 neck and fingerboard keep you playing your best all night long.
Infinity R Pickups
Equipped with a pair of Infinity R humbuckers, the GIO RG320 delivers a tight, articulate tone even under high levels of overdrive. The pickups accurately translate your playing dynamics with excellent clarity. You can dig in hard when you want an aggressive, biting sound, then clean up nicely by rolling back your guitar volume. This flexibility lets you easily shape tones from glassy cleans to saturated distortion. The Infinity R bridge pickup has a bit more output for solos, while the neck pickup has enhanced low mids for a smooth lead voice. What's more, the GRG320 boasts an innovative mono-unit output jack. Rather than a traditional jack held in place by a plastic mounting plate, the mono-unit jack is a solid metal piece that eliminates weak points and movement that lead to jack failure.
Double-Locking Tremolo
The RG320 allows you to play as aggressively as the music demands without going out of tune thanks to its double-locking tremolo bridge. This innovative system firmly locks the strings at both the nut and bridge to provide exceptional tuning stability compared to standard tremolo systems. No matter how wild your performance gets or how violently you handle the whammy bar, you can trust the GRG320 to keep your guitar sounding pitch perfect.
