The JIVA10 is based on the Ibanez S series and features Nita’s own personal touches, such as her signature "Pandemonium" pickups by DiMarzio in a versatile HSH configuration. Triggered by a 5-way selector switch, these pickups deliver an amazing array of tones while a well-placed master volume control lets you make rapid adjustments with ease. For the best performance in a tremolo, Nita choose the Ibanez Edge Zero II bridge. With its sleek and comfortable, low-profile design and stud lock function for superior tuning stability you'll be able to express every aspect of your musical personality. It all adds up to a pro-level playing experience for anyone with the courage to go all the way.
Graced with Nita's special "Beaten Path" fingerboard inlay, the fast-playing maple/purple heart neck and ebony fingerboard come together to increase speed, comfort and sustain. And when the stage gets dark, you'll appreciate the luminescent side dot position markers that make it easy to hit all the right notes. The guitar’s finish was personally named by Nita as “Deep Space Blonde,” which is a gray burst on a natural quilted maple top. Nita named the guitar JIVA, which translates to one’s “soul,” a word found in Asian religions and one that has a deep personal connection with Nita as well. The Ibanez Nita Strauss Signature JIVA10 includes a hardshell case.

This item is fully functiong properly and soley marked as a Factory Second due to a cosmetic flaw. The type of cosmetic flaw varies with every item such as light surface scratching, finish dings or splits, paint discoloration, etc. The flaw is purley cosmetic and does not affect the playability or durability of the item. The majority of Factory Seconds look brand new, as the manufacturer is fanatical about quality control and will mark an item as a second for even the tiniest cosmetic imperfection.
