Brand new!

Distinctive and affordable, Jackson’s X Series Dinky® models are built for speed and comfort! The Jackson® X Series Dinky® DK1A DX is a venerable double-cutaway workhorse that offers many fine features desired by today’s shredders.

This Dinky model features an ergonomically curved nyatoh body and bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability and tilt-back scarf joint headstock. Hosting 24 jumbo frets, its 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.

Jackson high-output humbucking pickup and rail-style neck pickup power this metal beast with full-bodied tone ideal for brazen lead work or assertive rhythms runs. A Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo bridge system provides superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action.

FLOYD ROSE® SPECIAL DOUBLE-LOCKING TREMOLO BRIDGE SYSTEM
Recessed for picking-hand comfort, the Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo features zinc alloy saddles and a zinc alloy sustain block. The double-locking design allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge, resulting in excellent tuning stability and sustain throughout your most aggressive pull-ups and dive bombs.

12"-16" COMPOUND RADIUS MAPLE FINGERBOARD
Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12"-16" compound radius design, in which the maple fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.

BOLT-ON MAPLE NECK WITH GRAPHITE REINFORCEMENT AND SCARF JOINT
The bolt-on neck construction adheres the maple neck to the body of the guitar with screws, resulting in a bright tone with more control. For the touring musician, graphite-reinforcement rods flank the truss rod for increased neck stability that help maintain the shape of the neck through extreme humidity or climate fluctuations. The scarf joint creates an angled back headstock, which increases the tension behind the nut that eliminates the need for string trees and/or string retainer bars.
