Martin 0-X1E Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The 0-X1E Mahogany features a 0-14 fret body with figured mahogany HPL top, back, and sides. A short 24.9" scale reduces string tension and shortens up the reach between frets. This is the perfect guitar for a beginner, someone of smaller stature, or anyone who seeks the comfort of a smaller "couch" guitar. Features include a herringbone ink rosette, birch laminate neck, FSCA Certified Richlite fingerboard and bridge and Fishman MX electronics. Like all X Series guitars, the 0-X1E Mahogany comes in a gig bag featuring headstock, bridge, and end pin protectors, a durable water repellant exterior, and foam padding for protection on the road.

Tone
The 0-X1E Mahogany features a 14-fret 0/Concert body size, one of Martin's smallest; smaller than a 00/Grand Concert. This body size harkens back to the days of parlor guitars with its very focused and delicate tone. The HPL top in combination with scalloped X bracing delivers a nice balance of treble and bass at a lower volume.
