Main pocket is 12" x 12" x 9", there's a 1/8" foam padding betwixt the inner and outer fabrics . The outer fabric is black nylon and the inner fabric is a cotton/nylon blend. The smaller pocket would be good for smaller items: it measures about 10" x 10" x 1". The strap is made of a mostly cotton blend that's 2" wide and can be fully extended to about 58".
