The Roland D-70 is a 76-key "Super LA" synthesizer released by Roland in 1990. Marketed as a follow-up to the iconic D-50, it utilized advanced PCM samples paired with resonant TVF (Time Variant Filters) later used in the JD-800, but it functioned more as a sample-playback rompler derived from the U-series architecture.
