Controls include volume and tone knobs, a 3-way pickup selector and 3-way series/split/parallel pickup switches to further dial in your sound.

Hard maple on lightweight ash has been a recipe for great tone since the 1950s. The Schecter CV-4 updates the classic, with a heavily sculpted ash body that hugs the torso, seated or standing, and a 6-bolt maple neck with a satin backing that feels great in the hand.

Versatile series/split/parallel humbuckers
Decades of rock glory await you in the CV-4's Diamond J-Bucker humbucking pickups and versatile electronics. A master volume, master tone, and 3-way pickup selector make it quick and painless to find great sounds in a flash. But for players who a want a deeper dive, mini toggles for each pickup allow you to split the coils for a more traditional single-coil response, or run pickups in series (rather than parallel) for a heavier hit and beefier output.
