Iconic hard rock construction
The core of the Schecter E-1 Custom Special Edition electric guitar is the mahogany and maple, set-neck design that has found a home with countless rock and metal guitarists worldwide. The tonewood combination offers a sound that has plenty of warmth and bark, but the maple delivers long sustain and a quick attack. You'll notice harmonics and transients explode from the ebony fretboard. But Schecter is far from copying an old design. Thanks to its sharp lines and thin "C" neck profile, the E-1 Custom Special Edition still has a look and feel all its own.

Hot-rodded humbuckers
You'll love the clear but full-bodied tone of the Schecter USA Pasadena humbucker in the E-1 Custom Special Edition's neck position. The Pasadena is great at achieving all of the warmth and top-end detail of great vintage-era PAFs. The Schecter USA Sunset Strip bridge humbucker is a whole other story. This ceramic pickup delivers a huge amount of output, sustain, and dynamics to pull the most gain and harmonic content from your amplifier possible. The two pickups mate perfectly to get a broad range of sounds.
