Shapely cuts of mahogany, figured maple, and ebony give the PT Classic a rock-ready sound practically built for distortion and grime. Mahogany body construction fuels impressive sustain and rich sonic depth that goes perfectly with the humbuckers onboard. A quilted maple top shapes mahogany’s sound with a bright response and extra treble zing, not to mention stunning woodgrain looks! Moreover, the body features contouring for improved ergonomics that are lightyears ahead of vintage models. A flame maple neck and glassy ebony fingerboard round out the PT Classic with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets that facilitate soaring solos and pitch-perfect bends. Lastly, a deep modern cutaway offers outstanding upper-fret access that lets you take full advantage of the fingerboard’s potential.

USA Pasadena pickups
Schecter USA Pasadena pickups utilize Alnico V magnets built to instantly push your amp into overdrive, making them perfect for screaming rock leads and a host of other aggressive styles. Despite their hot-rodded output, the Pasadenas are exceptionally musical and clean up nicely when rolling back the volume for more traditional T-style sparkle. Schecter designed the original USA Pasadena pickups for Avenged Sevenfold's Zacky Vengeance, so you know the output packs a punch! There's an original USA Pasadena in the neck position. In the bridge position, you'll find a USA Pasadena Plus, which dials up the original's output and sharpens the upper mids for lead presence that readily cuts through the brickwall of a heavily-scooped rhythm section.

With ample top-tier hardware onboard, the PT Classic is gig-ready from the jump. Proprietary hardware creations were drafted from Schecter’s Nouveau line, including Nouveau locking tuners and a string-through bridge.
