Modeled after the classic 5-string version of the Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Bass, the Sterling by Music Man Ray35 ASH is the latest in Sterling’s StingRay 5-string bass lineup. Featuring a classic design with an array of modern appointments, the StingRay 35 delivers the big, bold sound that StingRay basses are famous for at a price that today’s bassists are sure to love.

Featuring a  modern contoured Swamp Ash body, a comfortable Roasted Maple neck, and  Roasted Maple fretboard, the Ray 35 ASH is on point in every way. With a silky smooth satin finish, a scale length of 34“ and a 9.5“ radius, and 21-fret hard maple fingerboard, the Ray 35ASH is built for playability and comfort in all musical situations.

The Ray 35 features active electronics including a Sterling by Music Man designed alnico humbucker pickup in the bridge position with a 3-band active preamp that allows you to dial in the exact tone that you need. From a thunderous low end growl, to bright and punchy highs, the Sterling by Music Man StingRay 35 covers a wide range of sonic territory. The hardware includes a rock solid Sterling by Music Man designed bridge with open gear tuners both of which feature vintage looks with modern functionality.
