Here at The Guitar Factory Chop Shop we have a saying, If we're going to do it lets over do it! We set out to make a reimagined version of a Fender Buddy Guy Stratocaster. We're calling it the "Super Duper PolkaBuddyDot Strat" It just has a certain ring to it right? Hahaha! We started with a 2000's Fender Signature Series Buddy Guy Gloss Black with Polka Dot Strat Body with Vintage-Style Tremolo, Chrome Jack and Black Strap Buttons. For the Neck we went with a 2001 Fender Mex Standard, maple neck with maple fretboard, 21 Frets, a 9.5 Radius with a "C" shape Profile.  The neck has a full gloss finish with just the back sanded smooth for a worn in easy playing feel. Fender locking tuners and string tree were added to assure it stays in tune for you.

Now this is when it gets fun. We didn't think this guitar had enough polka dots (like seriously) so we had a custom satin black with smaller white polka dots pickguard made to offset the gloss black and off white polka dots of the factory paint job. The look is awesome and totally trippy.  Don't stare at it too long or you'll start seeing all the dots start moving around. Hey, we warned you. Ok, now for pickups. We went with the awesome and absolutely underrated Dragonfire Alnico Phat Strat in the Neck and Middle positions. For the Bridge we went with the super crunchy Dragonfire AR5 Alnico Dual Rail Humbucker.  We took the cream covers off the neck and middle pickups and left the cream humbucker to achieve the look we wanted. Then we went with cream strat knobs as the cherry on top.  The 2 cream covers will we included.

This guitar is in overall excellent condition. This Neck is in great condition with plenty of fret life left. The Body has one tiny ding on the bottom and some very light surface scratches. The pickups, knobs and tuners were all new items used for this project.

This guitar was just set up with 9's, frets polished and neck conditioned. It plays and sounds Amazing!!
