This awesome Squier J5 came in on trade looking a little rough around the edges so the TGF chop shop saw an opportunity to breathe new life into this guitar and make it more bad ass in the process.

This baby got a full glow up, we started with a lemon oil neck condition, fret, body, and hardware polish, then set it up with new strings 9-46 Ernie Balls.

Now for the fun part, the original gold pickguard, knobs, and control plate were scratched up, the pickguard has a crack in it and they just made the guitar look sad. Enter the badass!! We decided to put on a matching black metal diamond plate pickguard and control plate complete with gold screws and new custom gold knobs for a new one of a kind "Bad Ass" Look.
For the cherry on top we added a two tone custom John 5 (J5) decal. We love the new look and now the next owner will stand out from the crowd.

This guitar is in overall excellent condition, it has a few very small dings on the back, no neck or fret wear.

The Squier John 5 Signature Telecaster solidbody electric guitar puts a modern guitar icon's axe in your hands for an unbeatable price. Hot pickups, custom controls
The custom-designed humbucking pickups use a special dual-volume setup with the bridge pickup control in the front position and the neck pickup control in the back position (John 5 prefers this setup because he spends a lot of time giving the bridge pickup a workout). Rapidly toggling the upper-bout 3-way pickup switch gives you 5's signature kill effect by turning off the neck pickup volume and leaving the bridge control all the way up.
