Cars and Guitars go together like peanut butter and jelly. It's awesome when cultures collide! Introducing the TFG Chop Shop "Caddy" Tele Electric Guitar. A truly one-of-a-kind guitar built with the wood of an old Cadillac Car Factory's flooring. For added vibe we added vintage Cadillac logos to the guitar and case. Plus, for good measure a "Cadillac" in vinyl next to the bridge. This guitar was just set up with 9's and it's ready to rock and be your next showpiece.

BODY:
Made with an awesome USA made Wallace Detroit Guitars body.
Wallace Detroit Guitars uses reclaimed wood from abandoned houses in Detroit to make electric guitar bodies. The instruments emphasize the heritage of Detroit and build on the city's musical legacy. This one apparently was made from the old Cadillac factory's flooring, and it looks amazing!! It's various pieces of natural wood all in slightly different shades including the original flooring nicks and flaws. This makes for one super unique and awesome look.

NECK:
For the neck we went with a brand-new Fender 50's Modified Esquire Neck with 22 Narrow Tall Frets, 9.5 Radius in a Comfortable U Shape made with Beautiful Roasted Maple. It's the perfect mate for the WDG Body.
Fender locking tuners were added to keep this baby in tune!

PICKUPS:
Zexcoil Vintage Series - Ultra Quiet, but not Noiseless and Definitely NOT Toneless!!
Vintage level wind and a nickel plated steel baseplate for that classic Tele twang* (*The baseplate on the Vintage Series Tele bridge pickups adds a slight bit of buzz, so these models are not as quiet as the others in our line, including the higher output Tele bridge pickups where we don’t use a baseplate. We’re willing to deal with it though, as the steel plate and its role in shaping the magnetic field and providing some additional eddy current drag is part of the classic Tele Twang!)

BRIDGE:
Stetsbar Pro II.
Stetsbar is the modern, professional, linear tremolo system that retro fits to Telet-style guitars without any modification - no new holes, no routing! Hi-tec micro roller bearings combine with a bridge that moves with the trem to give the Stetsbar unrivaled pitch range and stability for its class coupled with an extremely smooth up and down action.

Chrome Hardware and Woods Knobs set this beauty off for one super cool, one off telecaster. Note: There is a neck pocket shim installed just to fill in the body gap, it's strictly cosmetic.
