Now This Baby Looks and Sounds the Part!!! This is no collectors closet queen. This pedal has seen the road, studios, bars, and was probably used as a hammer at some point! Haha! We're kidding, but... if these things could talk right? This pedal is a silver label, it has the Maxon MP-DO1201B Board, the Texas Instruments RC4558P chip that's more typically found in 808 models, and brown coated resistors. For some reason all these early Tube screamers are like fingerprints, everyone is different, but not all are magic. The magic ones look well-loved like this bad boy!
The LED light has been changed, it's a light blue color now.
This pedal has the relic look but it's still in good condition. It works great and sounds even better!! The tone is thick, fat and creamy like that girl next door you always had a crush on! (don't worry, we've all be there)
