Washburn RSG200SWEVSK 1939 Solo Deluxe Acoustic Electric Guitar '39 Vintage Sunburst

Washburn Revival Series 1930's all-solid acoustic-electric Solo DeLuxe Auditorium with solid Torrefied Sitka spruce top, solid Pau Ferro back/sides, and Vintage sunburst, Fishman electronics. Deluxe hardshell case included.

This Solo DeLuxe Auditorium, the RSD200SWEVSK-D, is the acoustic-electric version of the RSG200SWVSK-D, featuring a non-invasive Fishman GT-2 under-saddle pickup.

 

The 1939 Washburn Solo DeLuxe Super Auditorium 5246 is the inspiration behind the all-solid Revival Series Solo DeLuxe. Period details such as the narrow "Crown" headstock, 1939 Vintage Sunburst, Ivoroid binding and rosette, fingerboard inlay, and period faux-tortoise pickguard combine to create a visually stunning acoustic guitar.

 

The Torrefaction process is applied to both soundboard and bracing to age these materials such that internal resins are crystallized and suspended water removed; much like what would naturally happen over the course of 20+ years of air drying. Mated with solid Pau Ferro back and sides and a bone nut and saddle the result is its Pre-war voice that will cause pause to anyone listening to this magnificent instrument.

 

The Solo DeLuxe's 1-3/4" nut width and narrow C shaped neck optimize playing comfort. Graphtech Ratio-Tuned open-back tuners and D'Addario EXP light gauge phosphor bronze strings complete this exquisite instrument.  Deluxe Hardshell case included.

 

The RSG200SWEVSK is guitar outfitted with Fishman's Sonitone GT-2 pickup system. This non-invasive undersaddle pickup system features a volume and tone control accessible at the soundhole and provides Fishman's world famous acoustic-electric tone. Deluxe hardshell case included.
