The Yamaha CPX600 combines the playability, clarity, and dynamic tone of the APX series with a medium-jumbo body design for an ideal balance between plugged-in performance and acoustic style. The medium-jumbo cutaway body delivers an open, modern tone with powerful, rich low-end, smooth, delicate highs, and sweet, open mids. Non-scalloped X-type bracing ensures a strong, rich acoustic tone that remains clear and well-defined on stage. The CPX600 also features the proprietary Yamaha SRT under-saddle piezo pickup from the acclaimed A Series for natural tone, accurate dynamic response, and feedback rejection. The Yamaha CPX600 is a medium jumbo acoustic-electric guitar, which means it has a slightly larger body than the APX500 thinline. This slightly larger body design means big sound. The CPX600 features a spruce top, a nato body and neck, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge that combine to put out solid, far-reaching tone.
